Hi! I could really use some help narrowing down what all-inclusive resort to bring my family sometime this winter. We are flexible on dates but looking to travel between the end of November and the beginning of February. With four little kids, a waterpark and lazy river would be awesome! But I really want to have the crystal blue Caribbean water and beach swimming to be a priority. I’ve been leaning towards Beaches Turks and Caicos, but I must say, the Italian style rooms feel a little less than appealing to me. And the other style rooms aren’t affordable for us. Is there anywhere else I should consider? I’d prefer not go to Mexico, but I am open minded if there was enough reason to choose a resort there. Other bonuses would be snorkeling, animal, encounters, and general fun for kids!

My husband and I are thinking of staying at one of the following hotels for our Turks & Caicos trip:

Point Grace Resort
Ocean Club East
Ocean Club West
H2O Life Style Resort

Thoughts?

We are planning to go to turks and caicos next week (mid-Oct). How is the weather/rain situation usually during this time? How about the mosquitoes or sand flies, particularly on Grace Bay?

Looking at booking a trip here but wondering if anyone has been/can comment on the beach situation? We much prefer sitting at the beach to a pool - but their beach front looks relatively small. Is this going to be a resort where you have to race out there at 7am to claim chairs? We are not particularly late sleepers - but I hate when this happens at a resort.

like the title asks. I went to leeward beach in summer and sunset, it was difficult dealing with the mosquitoes even when i was in the water. Are they active november/december?
