The ending of Attack On Titan
Many people interpret the ending differently. What is the most commonly accepted ending, and did Eren choose do the rumbling? What were his motives?

What if Mikasa said something different?
Eren pulled Mikasa into the Paths, right before she killed him. They lived out 4 years together even though only seconds passed in reality.
Both of them were consciously living through that shared experience.
However, in the Paths, Eren explains that this was the reality they could have had. IF Mikasa had answered to Eren differently at Marley.
So my question is: If Mikasa had answered the same way in real life, would it make Eren stop with the commencement of the rumbling? Or did he only create that reality in the paths to give them time together.
And what if the Turkish man didn't interrupt them for drinks?
