baby wakes up soaked every morning!!

my little boy has slept through the night every night since he was 8 weeks old. that was until he started rolling over and we had to take the little wings off his sleep sack. he’s going through a small sleep regression which we are handling pretty well but what bothers me the most is that now he wakes up and his diaper has completely leaked through his clothes. we use a brand that i really love and has never failed me before so i was shocked. i assume it’s because he’s on his tummy during basically his entire sleep so all the pee just goes to the front of the diaper. the back of the diaper is essentially completely dry. have any other parents in this group dealt with this? any tips? should i just try out different diapers and see what works? i hate to spend money we don’t have on diapers that just end up sucking too lol but i hate that little guy wakes up soaked so obviously we’ll try whatever works. SIDE NOTE: we don’t change him in the middle of the night. we change him right before bed before his last bottle and then first thing in the morning before his first bottle. he’s never struggled with diaper rash and changing him in middle of the night is a guarantee to wake him completely up so we try to avoid it.
EDIT: we did just size him up to size 3 diapers a couple of days ago and didn’t fix the problem :(

5 month old rolling over in his sleep

basically, the title. my little boy recently started rolling over and now he’s doing it in his sleep. we’re transitioning him out of his sleep sack one arm at a time and he’s doing okay, only a few wakes here and there. it’s stressing me out a bit because he’s slept through the night with no trouble since he was 8 weeks old and now we’re going through this transition. the most stressful part is the fear of him being face down in the crib. i guess i’m just curious to hear any other parents experiences with stuff like this? any words of comfort? because there’s not much i can do, that kid wants to roll lol.

new parents, it gets better!

im hoping that some new moms/dads read this and feel some relief because when my son was first born i definitely needed to hear something like this. IT GETS BETTER!!! my baby is 4 months old now and ive never been happier. at first, i felt like the joy of parenthood people talked about was a lie, but it turns out i was just really tired lol. one day, your baby WILL sleep through the night and so will you. the gassiness and fussiness will eventually come to a stop. youll start to feel more confident in your ability to care for your child. your baby will start to smile and recognize you and youll begin to see their precious little personalities. i remember being up in the middle of the night crying feeling like i was failing my child, but we were both just going through a crazy learning curve. me learning to be a mother, him learning to be a person! i remember going through moments i thought i couldn’t survive. i remember asking god why this little 8 pound person was sleep torturing me lol. but we made it through all of the tough shit. there’s a sort of resilience that comes with being a parent. so all of you moms n dads up tonight doing your best, know that it gets so much easier and so much more fun. a couple of months from now youll miss them being this little. the farther away from the newborn trenches you get, the easier it is to appreciate lol. hang in there!!!!!
