So I am a medical receptionist and most days I love my job but on days like today I am driven crazy. I gave a patient paperwork to update (4 easy pages) and one of them is a medication list. He tells me that I can call his wife to get that. Oh yes because I have a free 10 minutes to try to understand her reading of your meds (her first language is not English and she is hard to understand) when you have your list that I printed for you and you can call her yourself for YOUR medications. I truly will never understand why some people think that I have to do that for them when I don't know what you take and I am not the one to make the phone calls to find out what you take. You are a grown adult you should know what you take every day or be able to get that info yourself. Sorry for the rant just been one of those days.

So I am not sure what to do I am a 33/f and I had the same best friend since I was 5 years old but for some reason a year ago she just stopped talking to me. I work for a doctor that her husband was going to see and with out breaking any laws I gave her the heads up just so it would not be weird. Well he called and canceled his appt with us. I am just at a lose of how to feel or what to do. I miss her dearly but I guess the feeling is not the same for her.
