Currently working on fitting a bought pattern for a romper. It fit well around the waist, but was too large around the chest, and I’m generally flat chested, so I used this guide to remove the bust dart altogether. I’m still left with too much material around the chest, but I’m struggling on how to take it in because the two waist darts are making it hard to sew the sides narrower. What is the best way to fix the fit around the chest?

Generally, I hear that a good test for checking that the values of a drawing’s light/shadows are correct is to drop the saturation to zero and assess it in grayscale.

I wanted to test it out, so I drew a quick apple using colours of entirely the same value, and creating contrast by altering hue and saturation instead of brightness. It’s not exactly right, but I was able to create the impression of a highlight and, to a lesser extent, shadow.

Is there a way to check the ‘correctness’ of lighting/shading that additionally accounts for other factors like colour?

For context, I’m a casual player who is usually able to full star MOC/PF/Apoc, but am trying AA for the first time and it did not go well <\3

I’m not sure if my issue is:

1. Character Builds
2. Teambuilding
3. Bad Gameplay

I’m not set on clearing w/ full stars, just clearing, so my main concern is about sustains. I don’t have a good 3rd sustain, and don’t think(?) my builds are strong enough to attempt sustainless. I do have three companion currencies to maybe grab huohuo or luocha but not the stamina to build another character, since I’m currently trying to replace my MBlade’s placeholder build, and plan to pull on w/e sustain releases next, so I don’t much want to spend a limited currency on a ‘placeholder’ character. I also hope to pull Ashveil eventually.

What would be the best avenue toward being able to clear AA?
