Ladies! Thoughts?!

Hi, I'm wondering if you ladies have any suggestions or recommendations for vaginal moisture products that will help with vaginal dryness? I have put previously on this thread and another thread on reoccurring yeast infections on and off, and I think the result of that has really dried my vaginal skin and has made it thin. I was prescribed estradiol for that and while it has helped it's not long term and I feel like my skin keeps thinning and I keep getting micro cuts I'm wondering. I read on another thread that some have used vaginal moisture capsules to insert and that has helped a lot with the vaginal dryness so I'm wondering if any of you ladies had experience with this? I have a scheduled appointment with an NP in about a week and ½, OB wait times are months from now which is ridiculous! The dryness is giving me anxiety and spiral thinking am I getting another infection (even when I don’t have the other symptoms).

!!fRUSTRATED!1

I’ve  had about a year which feels like on and off yeast infections? It began July of 2025 when I had my first full blown yeast infection, it was after I came home from the gym. I reached out to my doctor, and I took the prescribed fluconazole and it did help for a month and then I had another reoccurring infection in early September and then I took another 2 doses 3 days apart as I went to urgent care because I couldn't take the itching and burning. While that helped for about a month and a half, I ended up going back because I kept having just itching only and burning and then I had at the time tested positive for staph aureus and candida krusei. The doctor then prescribed me a couple ointments for those two strands, and it eradicated it completely in December. I was good for two months and then March of this year I had minor symptoms of what felt like a yeast infection coming back but it wasn't full on clumping (it looked like minor clumping) but it's more of itchiness and what felt like micro cuts. I finally took boric acid alongside an estrogen cream and while that's been helping, since then I have been good from March up until now… I keep getting this itching and some slight burning (only because I can't help but to scratch and I know that's not good) but I'm really getting frustrated as to what it could be. Back in June of this year, I did do a full-on testing for candida, Ureaplasma and bacterial infections, and thankfully everything came back negative. The doctor thinks it's possibly an allergic reaction but I already changed to an organic unscented soap to wash my clothes, I don't wash with any soaps in my area; only water, I have switched all my underwear to cotton, I don't wear tights, I feel like I've done better with my sleep, I don't consume a lot of sugar, I’ve been taking good probiotics and rinse after sex. So, it's really bugging me why the itchiness is present on and off and I noticed it more right after my period, like the symptoms can mimic a yeast infection. I saw 4 different doctors (family practitioner, Urgent care doctor, dermatologist and OB). I tried scheduling another appointment with my OB but they’re all booked until November! Even the nurse practitioners! Has anyone been through this?

Needing feedback on travel destination!

My husband and I are considering a vacation for our 10 year anniversary next year, beginning of August. We're flying out of LAX. Ideally, we are looking into staying anywhere between 7-12 days max. We were considering Greece, Bora Bora, Fiji, Europe, Mexico and Hawaii. I am overwhelmed as to where we should go! We have been saving 2 years worth for a trip! We're open to suggestions! Thank you :)

Feed back on wanting to visit Hawaii, first timer! :)

My husband and I are considering visiting Hawaii for our 10 year anniversary next year, beginning of August. We're flying out of LAX. Ideally, we are looking into staying 5-6 days max. We were considering Greece, Bora Bora, Fiji and Hawaii. We are leaning towards Hawaii, specifically Maui, however, I keep reading to visit South of Maui, then I also see to visit East of Maui, so I am confused as to where we should go. We're open to suggestions! Thank you :)

Looking to start my own practice! Feedback on how to get my foot in the door!

Hello everyone! I am an LMFT in CA. I currently work for a group private practice, strictly telehealth and they are contracted w/ Kaiser. I am looking to go out on my own as 40+ hours is driving me to burn out! I love the work i do , but not at the rate of this caseload. I am wondering for those of you in CA, how did you start your own practice?

I have researched some things, but still overwhelmed with where to start. I saw a couple of similar threads, but didn't get answers I was seeking for or left me more confused. Questions I have are:

  1. What EHR is best and/or convenient?

  2. What online platform do you use?

  3. How are you getting referrals?

  4. How did you go about getting contracted w/ different insurances or is cash pay best, or do you accept both? I'm still weighing in about sliding scales too.

  5. Do I need a PC since CA doesn't allow for an LLC or PLLC?

I feel like I'm missing things to ask, but I welcome other pertinent information that may help me with the start of this process. I really appreciate the feedback!
