I’m working on small electronics projects like custom PCBs and smart glasses, and I want to 3D print clean enclosures/casings for them.

The problem I keep running into is that most “AI 3D model” tools make something that looks cool, but the dimensions are off when I actually print it. I need something where I can enter exact PCB dimensions, hole spacing, port cutouts, component height, wall thickness, etc., and get a model that actually fits.

Has anyone found a good AI-assisted CAD workflow for this? I’m not really looking for text-to-3D art tools. I need something more accurate for functional prints, maybe Fusion 360, CadQuery, OpenSCAD, Onshape, or some AI CAD tool.

Basically I want to be able to say:

  • PCB is X mm by X mm
  • mounting holes are X mm from the edges
  • USB-C cutout goes here
  • tallest component is X mm
  • case needs screw posts or snap-fit lid

And then generate or edit a real STL/STEP file that prints correctly.

What workflow would you recommend for a beginner trying to make accurate PCB enclosures without spending forever modeling everything from scratch? BTW im a software engineer not someone who can make 3d print models yet so take it easy on me.

I’ve been using one Claude chat for about 2 weeks for a large project, and it’s starting to get really slow/laggy on my Windows PC in both the browser and desktop app. Weirdly, it still feels fine on my iPhone.

I don’t want to lose all the context and start over. I tried asking Claude to “print out the full context” and moving that into a new chat, but the new chat didn’t really understand the project the same way.

For people working on long projects, what’s the best way to migrate context into a fresh Claude chat? Do you use Projects, a handoff doc, summaries, pinned requirements, exported files, or something else?

Looking for an actual workflow, not just a complaint about performance.

I’m making a video game / app that requires 3 characters each character needs to have their own animation like this in video shown.

So far I am generating the characters using ChatGPT images

Then I plug it into Higgs field using the $29 plan to animate it

Doing the math it costs me $29 for 50 videos but I need about 300+ videos for all the characters

Is there a tool that can automate this or if I can make a script what’s the best ai or open source ai to make these videos for me instead of spending almost $150 on Higgs field

Also I did the math making all 300 of these videos would take me 18 days non stop

3 characters x 10 versions of the character x 5 animations for each character = 150ish videos
