Rarely seen Turkey Vulture lovingly nestled on their eggs.

I bought an old farmhouse, barns, and buildings several years ago in north central Ohio, USA. Every year I have been blessed with baby vultures in my barn. Let me rephrase that… THEIR BARN…. I went on a barn adventure tonight and found a parent on the “nest”. I didn’t get close as to not disturb them but took a picture of them to share as I have never seen this. I usually find a floofy dinosaur wandering around my barn in late June. Turkey vultures are awesome and I just want everyone to see this side of them.

I’m in north central Ohio, USA. We call these June bugs here. It’s weird seeing them now. Who else is familiar with this epitome of fucking stupid bug. What do you call them in your region?
