Met an old friend after a long time, so we were sitting at smoke patia near ODM food street lane, just smoking, joking around and doing dumb stuff.
There was this girl sitting nearby ...maroon kurti, curly hair.... busy on her phone, so I didn’t pay much attention initially.
Then the shopkeeper called out her coffee order. Around the same time, two dogs nearby started playfully fighting and somehow ended up under her table. Her coffee almost spilled, and that’s when I looked at her properly for the first time.
She had these tiny kajal/mascara dots on her chin and for one second my brain genuinely stopped working.
She was trying to hold the cup steady while the dogs were still under the table, so I called them away. She looked at me, smiled, thanked me, and said something.
Bas. Final nail in the coffin.
Don’t know why, but for a moment it genuinely felt like
“itni pyaari bhi hoti hai kya koi?”
Thought of talking to her properly, but I was with friends, she looked annoyed at something on her phone, and I just let the moment pass.
Still thinking about how pretty she looked though.
Was never into collecting Hot Wheels/Majorette seriously… but a random layover at the airport changed that 😭
Had a connecting flight while heading to Goa, walked into Crossword just to pass time… and these beauties caught my eye. Ended up picking all of them up without even thinking twice.
Honestly, I’m completely new to this hobby. We were in double sharing during the trip I got my roommate into bikes, and he got me into diecast collecting 😂

Not gonna lie… there’s something weirdly peaceful about holding miniature versions of cars you grew up admiring.
Any collectors from Bhubaneswar here? Would love to know good spots, collector groups, tips, or even how you guys started. Feels like I accidentally entered a rabbit hole… and I’m honestly loving it 👀

I go on these early morning rides pretty often, just thought I’d put it out here in case anyone’s up for it.
Held onto something for months…
only to lose it completely today.
It feels bad.
But strangely, it also feels freeing knowing no one’s waiting for me anymore. So here I am… after 4 years on Reddit, making my first actual post.
