Concerns Regarding Cancellation Process
Has anyone successfully gotten Crunch Fitness to waive overlapping cancellation + annual fees in Canada?
I recently cancelled because I’m relocating to move in with family in another city with no Crunch gym due to health-related circumstances. I contacted them proactively before the annual fee hit, but they’re still charging both another month and the annual fee because of the 30-day notice policy.
I understand contracts are contracts, but this feels more like a system designed to trap timing than an actual member-focused policy.
Has anyone had success escalating this to corporate or getting a goodwill exception?
