I'm getting my boy an oral exam next month and if he needs a vet to clean his teeth what should i expect?

I clean his teeth at home ofc but i've noticed some buildup thats not coming off and decided to schedule a vet appointment to see if its bad or if i need to be brushing his teeth more.

But he's never got his teeth done at the vet before and i dont know what to expect if he does need cleanings done, He's eight years old and has been put under before but do they always put them under or is it just for reactive chihuahuas? And how are yall's babies when you get them back and does it take hours or can i stay at the vet and wait for him to be done?

As the title says, When i clean lettys cage at the end of the month i was wondering if should make her substrate deeper rn its 3 maybe 4 inches deep and then she has something to dig like one of her hides has it in it and i know usually you dont do both since dig box (?) is usually for people who dont want substrate but i gave her one anyway just incase, I didn't make the floor one deep enough for her.

So should i keep doing that or should i make the floor deeper?

This here is letty and she'll freak out till i speak and say 'it's me letty!' and then she'll calm down, Does anyone else do this? I assume it's a protection thing cause she does it the most when i catch her sleeping and accidentally wake her up.

This morning she panicked when i came to change her water and squirmed her way in between her rock and wall and when i said, 'It's me letty!' she peeked her head out and came back out.

I know i need to fill the top corner up but i dont know with what, Should i do more plants? Or should i do sticks? She has hidey holes at the bottom under the plants, Its what the plants are sitting on.

She's a veiled chameleon, I'm not sure how old when i first got her as a gift from my mom she wasn't interested in food at all so we went back to where we got her and turns out she's pretty young. She's eating now, So thats good. But i want to make sure her home is prefect and she'll have a good life, So what should i add in the corner?

I finally got her some loose substrate (i did leave paper towels on her side that i feed her just bc she is hard of seeing i dont want to her to miss the food - she's handfed but sometimes a cricket slips yk - and get a mouthful of it.
