Hi everyone! I was seeking advice for my beautiful pup, Salem. Salem has just turned 1 in the last week, and has now started showing signs of some significant pain.

She was limping around 3 days ago, and we assumed she had maybe had a sprain or something similar, so we decided to have her on bed rest, and as of yesterday - she was her normal self! Just as excitable as she always has been.

But today, we woke up and noticed that she wasn’t bearing any weight on her back leg, will only hop her back end around when moving, and was very lethargic and will only eat cheese, if it’s brought to her on the bed. We tried giving her all her other favourite foods but she seems to only want soft foods and I’m not sure why. She’s not reacting entirely like herself, just seems very uncomfortable and upset. There’s nothing that we can see that’s hiding in her paw, and she doesn’t seem the most upset when we handle it.

We usually would take her to the vet immediately but this is the one time that I’m not sure that we can afford it and our vet is not very forgiving nor do they offer vetpay or anything of the sort. I want to see her back to her bubbly self, any advice would mean more than the world.

I’ve been trying to find this fic for the last hour or even longer and have had no luck. I read it for the first time maybe 3-4 years ago?

It’s about Felix who’s deaf, and he goes to a baseball game with Seungmin, I’m pretty sure, and Chan is the pitcher. They end up meeting eyes and arranging number swaps to text, or something. They arrange a date, but when Chan picks Felix up, he realises he forgot to tell Chan that he’s deaf (lol).

He starts crying because Chan tries to say something and Felix doesn’t respond because he couldn’t understand, and writes in his notes on his phone that he’s deaf, shows Chan and it turns out Chan knows sign because of his family or something?

I’ve tried looking for so many tags and filters, but cannot find it. I hope it’s not deleted because it’s a beautiful fic!
