I have at the moment B1 and wondering whether i could get a conditional offer with it, I have seen that there is an intensive DSH preparatory course, is it possible to get into the uni with B1 and this attending this language course?

I am considering applying to TU Darmstadt, but I am a little confused about the language certificate requirements during the application process.
From what I understood, the university offers a DSH preparation course. I would like to know whether this course is compulsory. I also read that one of the requirements for joining the course is having German language skills at the B2 level and receiving a conditional admission offer from the university. Is it possible to apply for the language course with a B1 certificate instead?
I would also like to ask:
What is the minimum German language certificate required for admission to a degree program at TU Darmstadt?
Is it possible to attend an external language course instead of the university’s own language course?

Hallo zusammen,
ich überlege, mich an der TU Darmstadt zu bewerben, bin aber etwas verwirrt wegen der Sprachnachweise, die zum Zeitpunkt der Bewerbung erforderlich sind.
Soweit ich verstanden habe, bietet die Universität einen DSH-Vorbereitungskurs an. Ich würde gerne wissen, ob dieser Kurs verpflichtend ist. Außerdem habe ich gelesen, dass man für die Teilnahme mindestens Deutschkenntnisse auf dem Niveau B2 sowie eine bedingte Zulassung der Universität benötigt. Ist es möglich, sich mit einem B1-Zertifikat für den Sprachkurs zu bewerben?
Außerdem hätte ich noch folgende Fragen:
Was ist das Mindestniveau des deutschen Sprachnachweises für die Zulassung zu einem Studiengang an der TU Darmstadt?
Ist es möglich, einen externen Sprachkurs zu besuchen anstatt des Sprachkurses der Universität?
