FLNC up ~100% in a week… didn’t expect that move

Saw FLNC up ~100% in about a week. Didn’t think the last report was that strong on revenue, but backlog was a lot bigger than I expected and margins weren’t as bad as I thought either. Feels like the market just grabbed onto the AI data center energy angle and ran with it. I don’t really know if this is a re-rating thing or just momentum doing its thing in a thin name. Anyway, curious if anyone here actually followed this before the move or if it caught most people off guard.

Looking back over the past year, I realize I had a few situations where I was early on names but didn’t size them properly. SNDK is one example for me. I started with a small position and added later, but by then my average cost had moved up quite a bit. Not really complaining, just reflecting on how position sizing and timing matter more than just being right on the idea. Curious if others have similar experiences, where you were right on a name but didn’t really size it the way you wish you had.

INTC is already up over 40% this month, but it still doesn’t seem to be getting nearly as much attention as some of the more popular AI names, at least in this sub. The recent earnings felt pretty important. Profit came in well above expectations, which gives the impression that fundamentals might actually be improving rather than this just being a sentiment driven move. On top of that, winning orders like Tesla and getting more exposure to AI inference workloads makes the overall story feel quite different from before. It kind of feels like the market is starting to rerate it as part of the AI infrastructure stack, rather than just a legacy semiconductor company.I caught a bit of the move myself, though my position is still fairly small. Interested to hear how others are thinking about it and what they’re looking at instead.
