Help!

I have an 11 week old male great dane. He was on Purina Pro Plan when he arrived and from day one barley touched it. I took him to the vet and they suggested mixing in some purina pro wet food, still not a fan. I have tried to feed by hand, I put bowls up so when he is actually hungry he eats. I tested his stool - no parasites. He is energetic but on the thin side. I need a very high quality food with protein and grains. I fed my last dane homemade food but he is too young.

Puppy Behavior

Hello - I appreciate help from
Other Dane owners. I have owned 4 and they are my favorite breed by far!

It has 9 years since we had a puppy and we have a 10 week old sweet boy now. He is doing amazing with potty training and crate training. His biting and almost growling playing is not so great. I have tried walks and calm playing to avoid him getting so worked up and he has SO many chew toys. I was considering putting him in the crate when he gets like this but I don’t want him to associate the crate with punishment.

Any tips??

9 week old

Hello- after being completely gutted by losing my dog in June, we got our new pup Baloo yesterday. He is wonderful but it’s been a while since puppyhood. He wants to play rather than eat. I don’t recall going through this. Any tips? TY!

Crate Training Pup

Hello!

I have a new pup coming on Satuday. He will be nine weeks and I am so excited as I lost my best boy Goose in June. I am going to crate train and I have a good crate, will start with a smaller space and gradually increase the space in the crate as he gets larger. I am wondering for those who were sucessful quick (especially during the night) how did you do it? Did you get up every 2-3 hours to let them outside? Did you sleep next to them? I am mainly concerned with the overnight hours as we usually have soemone home during the day. I know treats when they enter, no big excitement when we let them out, cover the crate, snuggle puppy and don't let them out if they are actively crying (although that may be hard if they are constantly crying and i need to let out for potty). Please share what worked for you with your young pup. TY!

Said Goodbye

I said goodbye to Goose after almost 9 years of love and companionship. It has been 5 weeks and I miss him so much I don’t even let myself believe he is gone. I knew it would be awful but it is worse than I imagined. I am getting another pup in a few weeks and that is literally all I can think about when I get sad. I have lost Danes before but this one hit different. Hug your Danes for me.

Earnings 5/20

I believe earnings will be strong, but like a lot of stocks, price drops after with profit taking. In this case, given the "value" of this stock vs other companies in the sector, so you see that happening?
