Check Out My Solo

Saxophone: Selmer Super Action 80 Series II Tenor

Mouthpiece: Selmer Concept Tenor

Any comments on tone, phrasing, time feel, and improvisation would be greatly appreciated.

I have a formal music education in classical saxophone (music college), but everything related to jazz — tone, improvisation, phrasing, and language — has been self-taught. To be honest, I'm very self-critical, so I'm looking for some outside opinions.

Tea for Two (4 saxophones + rhythm section). Looking for constructive feedback

Hey everyone!

Learning jazz arrangement and harmonization here. Just finished "Tea for Two" for a 4-saxophone ensemble, backed by bass and drums.

I've listened to this track a million times and my ears are completely shot. I need a fresh perspective to understand how it actually sounds.

The Harmony: I kept the original chords as a base, but added some extensions and did a bit of reharmonization.

Any honest opinions, or tips from fellow arrangers and musicians are highly appreciated. Thanks!
