Tartaros legs are incredibly great for truescaling 30k officers...
Made a little bit of highlight on this one. Should I increase the number of exile marks? Freehand or decals?
The budy Tor is so great... I couldn’t resist sharkonizing him...
Personnaly, if I am a fan of mk IV helmets, I still think that mk Ii and vi will be better sets for sharkies, while awaiting for the so long desired mk v...
I changed the painting to red baal over army painter metal priming.
Effect in color is correct, but unfortunately the spray is covering everything, and my poor painting skills does not help...
Tonight, the void itself holds its breath for the grand finale of “Who Will Be My Next Shark Termi Sergeant?”
From the deepest reaches of the cold and lightless abyss, several apex predators have emerged. Ancient plate. Relic weapons. Questionable hobby decisions. Only one will claim the honor of wearing the crest and leading the next Red Tithe.
The competition has never been fiercer.
First into the arena: Kihabaru. A mountain of ceramite, resin and intimidation, whose sheer size combined with grey knight helmet has already won over much of the public vote. But after a disastrous showing in the last Red Tithe Trial, cracks have begun to appear beneath that brutal exterior. Is raw presence enough… or has the giant finally sunk too deep?
Then comes Ikema, the experimental nightmare. Bold. Unorthodox. Dangerous. A warrior who dared to combine the finest elements of Cataphractii, Tartaros, and Indomitus armour into one savage silhouette. Some call it genius. Others call it tech-heresy with extra steps. Tonight, we find out whether audacity earns glory… or ridicule.
Next, emerging from the shadows, is To Mikeno. Silent. Grim. Mounted in a studded gravis reinforced armor topped with a saturnine helmet and draped in trophies torn from the fallen. The skulls he carries speak louder than words ever could. But controversy follows closely behind him, as critics continue to question those hazardous freehand exile markings. Will brutal authenticity overcome technical risk? Or will the judges show no mercy?
And of course… Tuka the Tartaros. Leaner. Faster. Deadlier. The gamble of truescaling with centurion legs shocked the judges and divided the fandom overnight. Was it visionary craftsmanship… or a step too far beyond the Codex? One thing is certain: nobody has stopped talking about him since.
…
Eleven killers. One throne. One future sergeant.
Cast your votes. The void is watching.
Not totally convinced by all the kitbash combinations, but gravis are definitely great for true scalling...
What do you think of the combinations ?
So... I decided to experiment the most heterogeneous terminator squad of the imperium, using bits of every set available (including centurions and agressors)
Here is the first batch... More to come...
In my quest to kitbash the most heterogeneous termi squad of the imperium, I recently acquired those fine gentleman.
Quality is great, but they are made of a kind of plastic rubberkind of material I never encountered. Especially scrapping paint is quite easy, but I almost ripped off the shoulder pads, which is basically the best part of cataphractii.
Any idea of what kind of material it is ? And advice to work with it (paint scrapping, gluing, kitbashing and so on...) ?
