1 impacted, and 1 partially impacted wisdom. Dentist said I need all 4 out, advice?

I went to the dentist for tooth pain after avoiding for ages, he said that I have an infection and rotting in my bottom left wisdom and that I need to be on antibiotics immediately then get all four removed. He said the top ones need to be removed due to overcrowding and me not being able to properly clean them because they’re so far back.

The bottom two are clearly impacted so I think I have to get them removed but nervous about doing all four. Should I get a second opinion? Or just go straight to the surgeon for second opinion?

I really don’t want to get any removed and am so nervous about the healing. I’m 28 with Ehlers Danlos (and tmj) and just so scared and sick of surgery. I’ve been under anaesthetic a couple times for some other stuff. Just so nervous of the pain and healing and dry socket, I’m a mouth breather mainly because of deviated septum.

Anyway done whining, any device?

Impacted wisdom Ehlers Danlos scared

Will keep backstory as short as possible. I’ve (27 F) known that I’ve had a wisdom tooth issue when I first started feeling them come in, the bottom left one was always growing a bit skew and pointing towards the front of my mouth instead of upwards. I’ve had intermittent jaw and tooth pain for years, went to the dentist two and a half years ago got x rays but didn’t hear back even after following up. In the time since I’d had some kidney issues and had to go in to hospital twice, was on bed rest for about three months each time, then had two deaths in the family. Basically there was no time or energy or space to care for my teeth anymore as surviving got in the way. During post surgery I had terrible oral hygiene, I was in too much pain and also too depressed to brush or floss and as a result built up a lot of plaque or tartar. (Btw I smoke two joints daily with some tobacco/nicotine in it for pain management p)

Now, years later I am working up the courage to address my dental issues. I am almost certain that I’ll need to have this tooth removed as it’s growing sideways and has shifted all my teeth so that there are now overlaps. I am terrified to go in for this surgery for a couple of reasons:

  1. The current plaque and tartar buildup and my history of poor oral hygiene the last two years. I am nervous this will cause an infection after or during surgery.
  2. I have HEDs which I am scared will make the surgery and recovery difficult, as well as exacerbate my tmj
  3. Due to my heds and deviated septum I breathe through my mouth at night, I’m afraid this will cause dry socket.
I have fibromyalgia, unsure if this will affect my healing

How can I most effectively approach this with minimal pain and downtime? I am nervous as I also do not have a support system that is respectful of science and healthcare, or understanding about pain. I also have had lots of medical trauma dealing with practitioners who have been unhelpful or ignored my pain or concerns and dismissed them as anxiety. (I had been to four docs for the pain I was experiencing for about 7 months before having to be rushed to the hospital and told that if it were picked up earlier it would never have gotten that bad). Sorry! Really want to give myself a second chance at life but so terrified of this pain nd healing.

Pamala looks so much like Kareena

Idk why no one has said anything about this, but I was soooo annoyed when she didn’t dress as bebo or one of kareena’s characters for the Bollywood night because she looks SO much like her! Gorge
