( various forms of this sentiment has been said to me by the pwbpd that Im dating and its odd bc I didnt choose him, he pursued me heavily despite me expressing doubts and having various issues while dating. It very much seems like he chose me not vice versa )
I've started dating this guy who told me he has BPD. We have already have a few issues relating to his jealousy, insecurity, wanting to rush into a label etc but honestly one of the issues I personally have been struggling with is the LACK of gestures and romance on his part.. to the point where I've had to acknowledge it because I've never experienced such a lack of hospitality, romantic gestures, or gifts whatsoever with anyone I've ever dated. Three months and not one thing to make me feel special and I have been very sweet to him. I'm almost starting to feel rejected myself and thinking of calling it quits. Im just kinda confused if Im honest. (and no, no sex of any kind has occurred yet )
