I don’t about you all but I hope this means Universal has plans to bring the IP to their parks, because I don’t think the Netflix Houses are going to cut it, like imagine walk-around versions of HUNTR/X meeting guests.

With rumors about Universal’s rights with the Simpsons expiring in 2028, I thought about how the announced closure of IOA’s Lost Continent aligns with said rumors.
According to this article, Shigeru Miyamoto stated he doesn’t like dirty joke (I.e. gross-out humor like farts and burps) in the Mario movies, but that doesn’t mean Wario can’t appear in the films someday. Even then that sort of gross-out characterization only applies to his WarioWare appearances and not in other spin-offs like Mario Kart And Mario Tennis.
For context the above movie is rumored to be Donkey Kong while the below movie is believed to be centered around Shadow the Hedgehog
