So with this new patch I’ve been encountering loads of random accounts with random names that are troll names, that are good but spam the same move. Then win and then spam my low defence Stats profile whatever, back to me on a chat on psn. calling me a newbie. Or whatever.

Haven’t had this in ages. Is this part of the update or did I miss something?

I fight 1 guy earlier and win. Had to rush out so didn’t rematch. And the dudes hounding off in Psn chat for hours about how I’m shit and ran, when personally I didn’t re-match because I needed milk and whatever from
The shop because Yano. Life!

I got back into tekken after my father died as a way to just do something at night because I was bored. and haven’t had it this bad since the old tekken 6 days. Must of had 20 messages today. 😂

So I live in the uk, bought the Medicair pro air purifier second hand and looking to get a replacement filter.

Where is the cheapest place if any to get a replacement filter? website says I can get one from there, but beforei buy, I wanted to check if others do it cheaper anywhere else. just checking. before I go and buy one off the official website. Has anybody seen any elsewhere?

So I’ve been getting back into Tekken after my father died. It became a bit of an escape for me really.

I’ve always loved Hwoarang. Back in Tekken 6 I mainly played Baek and then switched to baek and Hwoarang in tekken tag 2. After that I took a really long break from the series until Tekken 8 came out.

I used to watch “ doohanbeak” mostly. He was like a tekken legend to me at the time.

Anyways I bought a PS5 after my dad passed away, partly to cheer myself up. About a year later I got Tekken 8, and that’s where it all started again.

I’ve been playing for around a year and a bit now, usually a few hours a day just for fun. Most of that time I spent in player matches just having fun and improving. A few months ago I finally decided to try ranked properly. I climbed to Tekken Emperor, stayed there for a while playing casually again, and then over the last few weeks I shot up the ranks and today I reached Supreme.

The thing is, I don’t really know how to feel about it.

Part of me is proud because I put a lot of time and effort into improving. But another part of me feels like the rank came surprisingly easily. Maybe that’s because I’m better than I give myself credit for, or maybe ranked is just easier than it used to be?

I also expected players at Tekken Emperor and above to be more… complete, I guess. I fought plenty of people who relied heavily on one or two moves, spammed throws, or repeated the same flowcharts over and over. Honestly, I found a lot of that stuff manageable because I dealt with all kinds of nonsense back in Tekken 5, Tekken 6, and Tag 2.

So my question is: is Supreme actually considered a good rank? Like, legitimately good? Is it something I should genuinely be excited about?

I know rank isn’t everything, but I do feel like all the hard work paid off. At the same time, ranked feels very different from the old days. I remember watching Aris rage at Tekken and thinking those ranks were absolute warzones and you had to be some sort of armoured machine to even get to duelist

So yeah, I don’t know whether to celebrate or shrug it off. Maybe I’m just looking for a bit of perspective.
