I hate people who abuse animals and won’t take anyone’s advice
I know this is a worldwide issue and there’s worse people out there but I was visiting my cousin last week and found out she had a hamster on top of her fridge in a 15 gallon plastic enclosure with no hides and the wheel barely fit. She got it for her 7 year old daughter but the way her daughter treats animals blows my mind, I’ve genuinely never been more enraged then when I seen that girl yank the clearly scared cat off the floor just to body slam it. And my cousin isn’t doing anything to stop this behavior, she was carrying the hamster around in a shoebox while I tried helping clean the cage as best as possible so it’s least not gonna suffer in stank but I felt terrible, a couple months back me and my brother brought a cat to they’re house from one of my brothers friends and as soon as it got in the house her daughter was scrambling to pick it up by its head and carry it. She ended up getting ring worm and they think it’s from the cat but I was kissing all up on that cat during the car ride there and I never got anything so I honestly think she got it from daycare and just wanted an excuse to get rid of the cat. They have two other cats and refuse to bring any of them to the vet. It’s just so irritating that I can’t do anything about it and when I did comment on the size of the enclosure and amount of bedding she started getting mad really fast like “listen to this girl tell me how to care for my animal, are you gonna pay for the new tank?” Like no bitch because I’m a child and if you had enough money to buy that hamster in the first place you have enough money to buy a better set up you fat fucking animal abuser. Idk how I’m related to these people.
