Hot Peasant Summer | Toonout [S1E11]
Since we're just copy+pasting the regular sub now, I got this one covered
These guys drop the bit all the time
Some other podcasters like to cast nasty aspersions about The Boys, and they'll often use the Tucker Carlson method of plausible deniability - "I'm just asking the question" type sh!t. Insinuating that they are some kind of unknowable, Kaufman-esque provocateurs.
IT'S SICKENING. There's plenty of proof on the internet that they're actually just nice boys.
Dimension 20 playing at my meemaw's funeral!
There should be a Hollywood Handbook movie and this should be the trailer.
My close friend needs help. She "can't even with those guys."
Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated. I'm me, I have a close friend, let's call her "Starburst." Starburst and I are both big comedy nerds and listen to a lot of the same comedy podcasts (mostly shows that are hosted by friends of HH.)
After I recently "got it" and became obsessed with The Boys, I discovered that she severely dislikes their work. I suppose she's been scared off by some of their appearances on other podcasts. I tried explaining that they're actually very sweet and handsome boys, and that the show is funny if you listen to it, but she didn't seem convinced.
She's not a bad person, she just needs guidance. How do I gently and respectfully help my friend correct this error?
