Confession

90% of the time I can’t tell the difference between Siobhan Thomson and Elaine Carroll until they start speaking. I don’t have any form of facial blindness as far as I’m aware of, but for some reason these two trip me up.
Ele woods is an honorable mention in this group as well.

I gotta beat this ghostly horse

So I just watched Smartypants on Drop Out Network and the presenter made a fun joke, so I thought, “Why don’t I do that exact same joke but also write complete nonsense to make my unconvincing argument even more laughable”

“its made from piss!” is officially the funniest VIP line

When Vic takes JW Smokes’ piss liquor and puts it on the table and Smokes drinks it and declares it's piss I was literally in awe at how clever it was, ESPECIALLY for an improv line.

For those who don't know, drinking piss was made famous by playwright Anton Chekov in the 19th century. Drinking piss is a concept emphasizing that every liquid in a story should contain pee. For example, if a liquor is included in a story, there must be a reason for it, such as it being drank at some later point.

Please please please can we get Zach Reino in the dome (whether he wants to or not)

After watching the newest Smartypants and seeing Zach talk about larping for his presentation, I have not been able to shake the idea of Zach being in the dome for a season. He’s funny, clearly knows his shit to some degree and honestly I just want to see him in more things that aren’t strictly singing based like One and Done

He probably hasn't done it before because of his long-standing personal beef with our lord and master BLeeM, but we can just kidnap them both! Problem solved.

I used to be so excited to see that Brennan was going to be on Game Changer

Now I just worry about how he is going to be treated in any given episode and it completely ruins the experience of watching.

I understand that it’s become a “bit” to try and “Bring Brennan down a peg” but it’s become too much and it’s putting a really sour taste in my mouth.

Upset that game changer didn't have a realistic court for the kangaroo court game changer episode

The newest episode of a game changer was a hard watch for me

There didn't seem to be many coherent threads for bits to develop on. Court cases are usually dialectic. The tension builds and resolves through the clash of thesis with antithesis. Having three contestants already challenges that dynamic, and then the lack of back-and-forth and limited cross examination further undermined what makes court cases so compelling, in my book at least.

There wasn't much of a narrative built over time, leaving the humor to rest on the individual challenges and mini-trials. The challenges were generally pretty simple, and the trial segments felt crowded and rushed to me, so this may go down as my least favorite episode of the show.

A issue that kept bugging me was most of the people commenting on privilege didn't seem to realize that criminal justice is one of the few areas where a white man isn't automatically the most privileged person in the room.

Brennan would be more than 60% percent more likely to be arrested than Vic, that's what the stats show so the fact that wasn't represented is upsetting to me

his is a pretty common blind spot for otherwise progressive people, so it wasn't unexpected and was easily set aside, but it certainly didn't help the episode, for me.

I got a random sketch idea (crazy I know)

I don't think (I could be wrong) that the cast does sketches anymore, but I wanted to write this out SOMEWHERE

Okay, sketch starts with maybe Brennan, Josh, and Zac (maybe a few others) waking up in a dark room, handcuffed to the wall and stuff. A TV in the room lights up and a jigsaw type figure starts his jigsaw type spiel, telling them if they want to get out alive, they gotta do some crazy stuff yadda yadda.

However, the ones chained up to the wall are absolutely *convinced* this is another episode of Game Changer, making bits, making digs at Sam, and Copyright Friendly Jigsaw just keeps getting more and more confused.

I randomly thought of this mid game changer episode one night and thought to share it cause I think it would be funny. Don't think it'd happen though unfortunately

The Shorts channel is ruining the experience and should be deleted!

The core part of the Game Changer experience is for us the audience to learn about the game and discover it at the same time as the players. To be filled with the same wonder, whimsy, confusion or horror at the same time as my favorite humans.

Yet week after week on Mondays the @GameChangerShorts channel posts a clip of an episode that is not even released on the platform yet. I would understand if that was a move to let people know that the most recent episode is out but no, the capital machine is built to bait us into rushing to the app and upon failing to find the new release captivate our attention with other shows on the main page.

But once again I know know about the setting, or the premise or the change in the game from a short thats being shoved in my face by the marketing machine.

Even if I was to scroll of the short immediately, I'd still spend hours agonizing about how the game will turn out, by the time the episode releases I might have already figured out the whole game ruining the whole show.

My duty as a Droupout fan prevents me from scrolling away from any content, I couldt bear to think that my actions would negatively impact the algorithm and it getting suggested to less people as a consequence of my own actions.
