Okay, here's my flimsy theory of the day! The ones buying the Richmond shares are Gemma’s parents.

They clearly have money (their neighborhood impressed Rebecca; Alice has referred to them as rich), and her mother briefly mentions, “Gemma’s father was a footballer—” before getting cut off.

Her mom is also clearly eager for Gemma to do the law internship for the prestige, since I can’t imagine wanting her to make her own money is a huge factor when she’s clearly glad to have her daughter back at home. 

Maybe they want her to give up the sport; maybe it's an old vendetta from her father. Is it actually any of those things? Probably not, no. Almost definitely not, in fact. So I should stop here.

...Anyway, all of that is already flimsy, but if you’ll allow me to put on my even bigger, dumber tinfoil hat for a second…

“Follow the anger” feels like an analog for “Follow the White Rabbit” from Alice in Wonderland, which is obviously a theme during this season. Gemma’s mother’s name? Bunny. 

Court dismissed. Bring in the dancing lobsters.

There is no rational or sane way to justify this ask, but I'm trying to find episodes where any character, preferably Shawn or Gus, says the word "sneaker." I know Nikes are mentioned once but it needs to be sneaker. I am sorry in advance I promise there's a reason even though it's a dumb one

I don't like Weed. Nothing against her just didn't get a laugh out of me during either appearance, including her return in The Garden. Please feel free to roast me, I want to like her so badly but the bit just doesn't hit for me.

Yes, yes. I know. The sun is out. I understand that the touristy beach areas get totally flooded on nice days! I'm not naive to that.

But for every family or adult here today there are about 14 to 79 unaccompanied feral young teens. The local schools aren't closed (as far as I can tell) and there doesn't seem to be a senior picnic, it's not post-prom, etc.

This is not an 'old lady yells at cloud' complaint post, I'm just really curious aka nosy
