Wake window fluctuations?

My baby is about to turn 10 months old in 4 days. The last couple of days her wake windows have seemed to shift all of a sudden based on me observing her cues. She was doing really well on 3.5/3.5/4. And the last couple days it’s been more like 2.5/3/4

Anyone else experience this? Wondering if it’s possibly just related to teething or a growth spurt? She’s been SUPER fussy the last couple days.

Also this morning, she was up at 6:00am instead of her usual 6:30-6:40am wake up. 🙃

Dana Mom of 4

I like this creator a lot! I tried doing her method named the Dana method when my baby was like 6 months and it worked. I did 9:15 and 1:15 nap and it went well! But I noticed it stopped working the older my baby got so I went back to wake windows loosely and that seems to work better. I have two older kids (14 and 11) in multiple sports and it doesn’t seem to work to be tied to a strict schedule of 9:15 and 1:15 when my older kids have so much going on at all times of the day.

I guess I’m curious- if your baby is older than 6 months- is this schedule working for your kids? I just can’t imagine my almost 10 month old having enough sleep pressure to go down for a nap 2 hours after waking up from an almost 12 hour overnight sleep!

Randomly woke up crying

My baby is almost 10 months (in a week). Shes been sleep trained since 6 months has has been sleeping through the night for months. Tonight I put her down and it was fine, but she woke up an hour and a half from me putting her down, crying and now standing in her crib screaming! What’s happening and what do I do? We did Ferber to train so I’m not sure how to handle this now 4 months later with this random wake

Need curriculum help

My son has been homeschooled since 2nd grade and we’ve been incredibly loose with curriculum. He’s done mia academy and it’s just been very fluff.

He’s going into 6th grade this fall and I need something more substantial for him now that he’s going to be in middle school.

We both work from home so there’s no way I can sit and teach him. We do CTC math which I absolutely LOVE. I like that the videos are short, they get to the point and he can do the lesson right there.
We also do EIW for English and I like those too bc lessons are short but he puts pen to paper for that.

I need something very similar for science and social studies. I prefer something that’s quick online lessons and he can do the worksheet or online portion at his pace.

(We do PE and electives at home with real life things that are hands on).

Suggestions?

How long are naps?

How long are you letting your 9.5-10 month olds nap for?
LO takes her first nap around 10:15 and I cap it at 11:15 (unless she wakes earlier). Then second nap is around 2:45 and I cap it at 3:45 (unless she wakes earlier) so we can do bed before 8pm. I NEEEED my evenings to hang with my husband and unwind. But curious how long you let baby sleep for?
If it helps- she does around 11 hours overnight.
It’s just crazy because a few months ago I thought I was gonna die bc she would take these 23 minute naps and longed for her to sleep longer. Now I’m having to wake her to protect nights 😆

Vacation

This may not be the right place to ask so pls delete if not allowed.
We are going on vacation first week of August- we are driving (10 hours 😩). My baby will be a few days shy from 11 months at that time.
We have slept trained at 6 months and she always sleeps through the night.

Our set up will be a playpen in our room bc there aren’t enough rooms for everyone. I’m really nervous about how this will work and if all the work we did to sleep train and the progress will all get undone since we will be out of our structure and routine and a new environment.

Anyone have any tips so I can mentally prepare? I wanna enjoy our vacation but worried we’re going to undo everything and then come home to a disaster.

Thank you!

SOMETHING LIKE PARADISE

We just finished watching Silo (love it) and finished paradise last night (love it). We need something VERY similar to get us through until these shows come back. I want post-apocalyptic but not dark. I love the murder mystery of paradise and the drama and story lines. And I love the post-apocalyptic vibes of Silo- keeping me on the edge of my seat. What can I watch that are similar to these?

WTF is happening

My baby is sleep trained and has been sleeping through the night since she was 6 months old. She just turned 9 months old a few days ago. When she was 7.5-8 months old she had a bad sleep regression/separation anxiety (she mainly fought naps but still slept through the night without waking). It was getting her in the crib and falling asleep that was awful. She would stand and cry until she lost her voice. Check-ins made it worse bc she would cry harder when I left . She finally got over it at 8.5 months and I could put her in the crib and she would fall right asleep for naps and bed. She turned 9 months old just a few days ago and we’re right back to her losing her shit when I put her in the crib for naps - delaying her sleep by 30-40 minutes bc she can’t settle and will cry her brains out. WTF is happening and how long will this last. I’m emotionally exhausted

WTF is happening

My baby is sleep trained since 6 months. She had a regression around 7.5-8 months and would fight naps and sleep. Screaming crying. Then the last couple weeks of her 8th month she was perfect again. She turned 9 months a few days ago and we are right back to the fighting naps and her standing in her crib crying losing her voice. WTF is happening. I can’t take this anymore

Short naps (9 month old)

My daughter just turned 9 months old yesterday. She hasn’t been the best napper. We had a brief phase around 5-6months where she was taking an hour nap every now and again but for the most part, her naps around 30-40 minutes. She does however sleep through the night so I can’t complain too much. Usually from 7pm to 6-6:30am.

We do two naps and a cat nap if her second nap ends before 3pm. Her wake windows are 3hrs/3.5hrs/4hrs.
I’ve tried shortening them but she’s not tired enough to sleep and if she does, she still wakes up at the 30ish minute mark. She is teething and does seem to have some separation anxiety but HOW can I get her to take longer naps? I would especially love the second nap to be longest so we can keep bedtime around 7-7:30. HELP!
