I’ve had this Opal and Diamond ring for many years and just noticed that it is mounted in platinum . Is this maybe an Australian opal or something special about it to be set in such an expensive metal ? I have complete trust in your expertise . It always amazes me how you are able to pinpoint a stone ! I call it the brick because it’s so thick .
