Switching to electric version of my X3 looks like it will save £4k in running costs per year - is this the biggest no brainer?

Now I have a driveway with home charger I cant see any reason not to do this.

Bonus is I can trade it in for a car two years newer and pocket £8k difference

The petrol version is more fun to drive, but the electric is more comfortable and easier to drive around a city and in traffic

BMW ix3 vs Skoda Enyaq

Looking at trading in an ICE X3 for an electric family sized car, looking at 2021/22 models of both around 50-60k miles

Comparing the 330 mile range Skoda to the 290 X3 (the closest two), the BMW is only about £2-3k more like for like.

The BMW comes often with panroof, heads up display etc, and has a much nicer interior with more traditional feel, physical buttons and leather

I am minded to pay the extra to have the familiarity of the BMW, as well as something nicer to be in and drive. Is there any reason the Skoda would be a better choice other than the marginal saving on cost and insurance?
