1st iui failed :(

I’m so so sad and tested negative 13dpo.. passing my due date if it wouldn’t have ended in mmc. This is my first actual iui but I had one being cancelled earlier..
how are you all handling it? I feel like these test days are the worst.

Det skyldes to ting:

Hvad gør man her? Næste gang der kommer et arrangement jeg inviterer til har jeg ikke lyst til at invitere tbh, men det vil også være mærkeligt.

So afraid I’m never going to have kids

Just tested 11 dpiui and it’s negative. I knows it’s still early but I really feel like this cycle is not the one. How do you still keep your hope up?

Entering the month of my former due date as my period starts - seeking support

Hi lUI ladies. But period is slowly starting and August would have been the month where I thought I would have delivered our baby, which unfortunately ended in a missed miscarriage. We conceived naturally back then, but decided to start iui a couple of months after our miscarriage based on a semen analysis and considering the time ttc.

Unfortunately our first iui got cancelled, the month after we were travelling and then the clinic has been closed over the holiday. So technically we haven’t started iui yet.. We will start iui again this new cycle..

Im constantly comparing my current life to where I would’ve been if the baby would have been born. Almost everyday really and the 6 months since the miscarriage has been the hardest of my life really.

I guess I just wanted to vent and get some support. Any thoughts or support on how to cope with the process?

Two of my best friends just announced pregnancy

Hi ladies. Just here to vent a bit. Two of my best friends just announced their pregnancies (different friend groups). I’m happy for them, but I am still grieving our miscarriage that happened at week 10 while the whole fertility journey hasn’t been easy for us.. Our baby would have been born four months earlier than my friends' newly announced babies. One of my friends got pregnant by accident and had been drinking heavily just two days before getting a positive test, while I sit here daily wondering if a single cup of coffee, a workout, or something similar caused my miscarriage. Every friend I talk to about this situation tells me that it will happen for us eventually. But I am just questioning what the true cost of having a child will be.. more miscarriages, IVF, financially, and the mental toll.

Any advice on how to handle the process or similar experiences?

(TW) How did you get handle miscarriage emotionally?

Hi iui ladies. I had a missed miscarrige back in January and I’m still processing it all. Is was 9+ something but had a gut feeling that something was wrong even though we already saw a heartbeat. I still had all of my symptoms but some days they were less intense (which my doctor told me was normal in the end of first trimester). One night a had a crazy nightmare about the baby dying or something, and we agreed to get an ultrasound, telling ourselves that if the doctor was right, i shouldn’t be so stress about it that I dream about at night. turns out that the embryo did no longer have a heartbeat and was only 6+5 in size.

Today I still cry about it some days and feel quite lonely as well. Every month I think about how far in the pregnancy I would have been, and my old “due day” is quite soon here in August.

Any advice or experiences on how to process miscarriage? Thanks 🫶

Cramps in tww after iui?

We were supposed to have our first IUI this cycle, but it had to be cancelled because the clinic scanned me too late and my body reacted strongly to the hormones (clomid). I had three follicles, but one was too large and two were too small. Ovulation had not occurred yet, but my LH levels had risen, and it was right before the weekend. We tried naturally on our own, and a few days later, my temperature increased (tracked with Oura). I am currently in the ttw and can feel a lot of cramping. Yesterday, I was certain that my period was about to start. Today, I have a sharper pain, located in the middle, that comes and goes (neither in the lower back nor the front).

Has anyone experienced anything similar? My first cycle with hormones

First iui canceled as follicle was too big

Hi ladies. New here trying to navigate iui. Our first iui cycles was canceled, since I had a huge follicle on 28mm and two around 13mm. This was on day 13. I normally ovulation naturally on day 19-20, so the clinic was surprised that it was already so big. I had a feeling in my body that something was happening and asked the clinic for an early scan which got rejected, so I’m really frustrated that they now have to cancel this cycle. The clinic also made me do an LH test, which became positive right away, so it wouldn’t make sense to give the trigger shot of the iui.

Have any of you tried something similar? Still unsure about how they will chance the process next time and considering to try another clinic.
