As a dual citizen that wants to teach English in Colombia possibly on contract for a year. Should I focus on Bogotá or Medellin or another small city? My Spanish is quite introductory but I’m studying. I don’t intend to use dating apps but regardless how is meeting new people and potential dates at malls, festivals, public parks.

*I’m in my mid 20s currently but I’m finishing my masters degree in something unrelated.
luckily i will have no debt because of merit scholarships . At this point in my life id like to spend a year or 2 abroad and wondering if Colombia is a solid choice since I’m on the younger side.

As a dual citizen US/COL with limited Spanish(studying) but a yearly renewable contract for English teaching in select universities what is the dating scene like. I never fully grew up here at all but I’m curious. Is Medellin worth my time or I should I choose other places like Bogotá, Manizales, Cali, Pereira, Villavicencio? Not interested in using apps for obvious reasons. Are malls, festivals, gyms, outside events good for meeting people? I don’t drink or smoke so I don’t visit bars. Don’t prefer nightclubs

How is SCSPD in terms of lifestyle and balancing a family. Also does the same on boarding process for many 1811 jobs apply when you go for SCSPD. For example , SF clearance etc?

Im American Colombian that was born in Colombia but adopted internationally and now in the United States. I have my expired passport, and birth certificate. I don’t have a Identification card. I’m curious if with the information I have I can renew my status as a citizen. I know that their are two types of birth certificates and I only have the version with my adoption parents. I have no details on my biological family and I’m curious if I need them to renew my documents. From what I know I need one parent that is a national too renew status but I’m not sure if that applies for my case since I have my own passport and documents.
