Admittedly I only discovered WT this year so I have binged the other series rather than watch one episode a week like I’ve had to with this series but as a whole it has definitely felt different.

Angie- it felt like she was largely sidelined for the latter part of the series, yes I know she was pregnant but that in itself was a major plot line and she was really looking forward to being a mother only to have her check out (when she has literally been through far worse) and the audience got to see a 2 second interaction with Edie. I didn’t mind Seth dying, it felt inevitable even if I had grown to love their relationship, but the way it was done felt rushed and they just made his death all about Will and gave us no visuals of “Angie as a mother” or her processing his death when she started to get better.

Faith- doesn’t seem to have a partner any more, we lost the Mitchell/Trent dynamic. Although at the very end it seemed to imply she and Angie would be partnering up which I don’t hate.

Ormewood - where are his children 😆, did he forget they exist?

Franklyn- well, we just need more of him.

I didn’t hate the series, but I didn’t love it either, I think may be because I’ve watched the 3 previous series so recently it’s made me realise how much the dynamics and themes have changed and I really hope in s5 they go back to the core of the show and what drew fans in in the first place.

That is all (I think).
