urgent help (ipmat + cbse)

10th: 72% (2024)
12th: 64.4% (2026)
If I give improvement exams in 2-3 subjects in 2027 and take a drop for IPMAT 2027, will I still be eligible for IIM Indore/IPMAT? Will improvement exams or a gap year cause any issue in admission or interview?
I scored 197/360 in IPMAT 2026 with only 25 days of prep, so I feel I have a realistic chance in 2027 with proper preparation and better board marks.
Need honest guidance because apparently the Indian education system enjoys turning teenagers into Excel sheets.
