I feel like I'm the only one with this issue

I opened my Blender project expecting everything to look normal, but instead some of my textures were missing on my Gummibär model. The bright green body and white parts of the character were broken or missing, while a few other textures still looked fine, which confused me even more. I had spent a long time working on the model, adding details like the shiny green skin, orange underwear, blue sneakers, and the cartoon-style face, so seeing parts of it messed up made me panic. At first, I thought it was just a glitch, so I restarted Blender and even restarted my computer, but the missing textures were still there. After that, I checked my folders and realized some texture files had been moved around on my computer. I tried using Blender’s “Find Missing Files” option, and it restored a few textures, but not all of them. Then I opened the Shader Editor and manually reconnected some image textures one by one. I also checked my file paths, repacked textures into the project, and searched online for answers from other Blender users. Eventually, I managed to recover most of the textures by reorganizing my folders and using backup files, but the whole experience was still really frustrating. I learned that keeping textures organized and saving backups is very important when working in Blender. Does anyone know an easier way to fix missing textures in Blender?
