Last night, I had the most awful dream regarding my partner and it detailed my biggest fears, but so intricately and deeply. As if it was real, and I was watching it 3rd person. I dont believe it was my subconscious, It felt like it was purposefully sent to me. Could it be a curse? Something someone sent for me to see? What can I do to stop this? I have asked hekate for guidance and protection, but poorly.

Please offer me some advice. Thank you ☺️

Hi all. Last and this year has been particularly challenging for me, and about a month ago I had some really strong urges that Hekate was trying to reach out to me… images in my head, shadows, not feeling alone at night, crows following me some days, seeing and hearing an owl, hekate and witchcraft ideologies plastered on every social media despite not googling etc about her and generally just the need to want to learn more.

Since then, I have set up a small alter at home, made a few offerings, what people suggest online; lavender, herbs, roses, eggs, garlic, a glass of water. I have no tall coloured candles so have been lighting 3 white tea lights and using some wax burners. I have spoken to her a few times, probably not correctly or traditionally, and have thought about her often.

My question is- how do I know she approves/ likes what I am doing? There is so many different sources and opinions out there at the moment that im not sure what to begin or feel or look for.

How should I continue on? I know the next dark moon is 14th July- supposedly from google, so I will make a nice offering then, but otherwise…? Should I try tarrot? I am brand new at this… my late late grandmother was a gypsy and believed in witchcraft etc, but otherwise I have no ties in the family, no knowledge or understanding, no coven as some people online say.

My initial thoughts led to- is this safe? But after researching a bit, feel safe and happy to reach out to her. Can anyone give some advice etc into this? Could I be inviting trouble into my life? Will my offerings etc only be seen by Hekate?
