spells

i did a reconciliation spell layered with healing and bringing back old feelings. my flames started as one huge and one small, which i feel represented exactly how my relationship has been. by the end they were steady and intertwined. is this truly a sign?

Obsession Spell

I’m the pink candle, at the end the candles didn’t extinguish and the flames spread to the herbs and made a huge fire had to put it out by a wet towel. However the spell is already done. Any thoughts or interpretation would be appreciated

I want to cleanse my space, but how?

Hello! I’ve always been interested in witchcraft , specifically wanting to learn more about protection and cleansing, but im not sure if i’m doing it properly. I’ve done smoke cleansing only a couple times before on myself, I usually burn incense as I say my affirmations, and I let it burn down as I relax. It’s embarrassing to admit, but most of my knowledge from that is from TikTok.. so im not sure if i was even doing that correctly🥲.. I seriously want to learn more about it but i’m not sure where to start, I only have seen names of closed practices like Voodoo, but i understand that certain kinds of witchcraft like that aren’t suppose to be practiced unless that’s your heritage(?) so what can i practice? where do I start? and how do you go about cleansing your space so I can get a better understanding on how to cleanse mine, thank you ☺️

Love binding spell

So i did a love binding spell today and im not sure if it worked or not. My candle (left/pink) and his candle (right/red) was flickering the whole time, and burned at the same pace. Never once did they combine, not even when the yarn was being burned… When my candle was going out his candle stayed lit, our wicks never combined at all! But i seen somewhere that how they melted might say if it worked or not (but i have no clue).

Actually, he called me while i was burning them. And when we were about to get off the phone he was saying that he wants to take me back and he loves me so much but he can’t… basically because of his ego, and he kept “giving me chances”. He said he still wants to stay in contact tho, and he always is thinking about me. But can’t forgive me for what i did.

So did it work? or did it not? & do i have to wait longer for better results?

What are y’all’s thoughts on using AI in your practice?

What is y’all’s thoughts on using AI in your practice? I use it mostly to organize my spells and ingredients. I tell it what I’ve done, what I use, and how I’ve used it. I then ask it to write it up in a pdf so I can print it and put it in my grimoire. Sometimes I ask for tarot interpretation when I can’t forgive it out or are coming up blank but I feel like I’m skipping the development of my intuition by having something tell me the answer (potentially). Anybody here using AI and how do you use it and what are y’all’s thoughts on it?

The movie obsession seems pretty realistic to how obsession spells work irl

I haven’t seen it myself yet but I’ve already seen think pieces and clips and scenes discussed. It looks accurate. Apparently she’s possessed, pretty similar to intranquil spell? If you’re considering an obsession spell for your SP instead of a love spell, probably should go watch that.

Does anyone here work with planetary hours for ritual timing?

I've been diving deep into planetary hours for some time now and I'm genuinely surprised how little it comes up in pagan spaces compared to moon phases.

The system itself is ancient. Chaldean in origin, used across Hellenistic, Roman and medieval magical traditions. The idea that each hour of the day is ruled by one of the seven classical planets, and that timing your devotional work or rituals to those hours can amplify their intent.

For example, working with Venus on a Friday during a Venus hour for love or beauty work. Or Saturn hours for banishing and ancestor work around Samhain.

I find it adds a layer of precision that moon phases alone don't give. The moon tells you the season of your magic, the planetary hour tells you the exact moment.

Does anyone here incorporate this into their practice? I'm curious how different traditions approach timing, whether it's purely intuitive or more calculated.

Question for black witches

I saw the tik tok charm posted about being mistreated in the witch community because he is black, so do any other black witches feel this way?

Backfire, success, or something else?

I did a sour jar a week ago, set it in a dark place and put it out of my mind so I could just let it do its thing. It did have some nasty ingredients added to it and my feelings were incredibly strong when casting .This morning the person it was intended for came into my mind very strong and I started feeling anxiety, like butterflies in my stomach but not from happy nervousness. Has anyone else had feelings like this, if so, could it be a good sign, or something else? A return to sender spell possibly?

Because it has been a week I really wasn't expecting any kind of feedback from it either way. It's actually got me afraid to give it a good shake and reset the intention.

Plate broke and shattered at the end of spell

So I did a road opener abundance spell near the new moon with a green candle burning on top , I set my intentions and everything and usually near the end of the spell while the candle is almost gone I don’t mind leaving it for a moment ( if I leave I set my intention and ask it to burn safely because I don’t want to blow it out) because I’ve done it in the past with spells before and it burned to the end without problems but this time I left for 30 mins to go to the shop and when I came back the whole plate shattered but the candle was completely burnt out . I was rlly shocked like fuk is this a good sign that the spell worked or a bag sign ?

( P.S. in the photo I moved like one of the shards abit before taking a photo but it pretty much looked like that when I came back the plate was sitting on top on the box it wasn’t over the edge or anything)

obsession spell ritual help

hi everyone! i purchased an obsession spell ritual from a witch on instagram on april 26. she sent me proof of completion of the spell on april 28.

my target for the spell was a man i have had an on and off again romantic connection with since september last year. we had been in no contact for about a month before he randomly reached out to me apologized at the end of april. i responded to him and he left me on read which is what prompted me to buy the spell.

the goal was to deepen our connection and make him want to commit to me in a serious relationship since the reason we have been so on and off is because he says he cannot commit to that with me, even though he wants to. he says we can only be casual.

two weeks after purchasing the spell, i ultimately broke down and texted him (i know this is a mistake 😩) i have seen him twice since then (casual hooking up) and we had been in contact. the first time i saw him he was acting very affectionate and obsessive over me, he could not keep his hands off of me and was telling me how much he could not stop thinking about me. however, i feel like the second time i saw him i messed up. i brought up a serious relationship and he shut me down pretty quickly. i continued to grill him about that situation and ask him why and told him i would be okay with casual. i regret doing this because i feel like i may have came off desperate and made him pull away. i have not heard from him since then.

will this spell still work to make him want to deepen our connection to a serious romantic commitment? what should i expect time period wise? please lmk guys. i appreciate it!

question re: graveyard dirt.

Could anyone give me advice on collecting dirt this way: As a substitute for graveyard dirt, I was wanting to use the dirt from the home of someone close to me who passed away in their home several years ago. They lived in that house for over 50 years. The house was sold now. I'm not sure where I'd leave offerings, and would I need to ask permission from a guardian to approach as well?

i would like to use graveyard dirt for a working, but in the country i live i don't personally know any people who are buried here as most get sent back to their home countries for burial.

I'm curious about something

I'm not sure if this question belongs here, but I'll ask anyway. Could a person become a yokai or some sort of entity by being attached to or even obsessed with (getting) specific supernatural abilities?
