Hey! Thank you if you read this.

Problem details:

I recently built a new PC with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT, an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, and an 850W power supply. I’m using three 27” Samsung Odyssey G5 monitors at a combined resolution of 7680×1440.

Everything worked perfectly at first, but after some time (maybe after a windows update but I am not sure), Le Mans Ultimate started having constant micro-stutters/micro-lags when playing on triple monitors. According to the Steam overlay, FPS remains stable and does not drop during these stutters.

The issue only occurs in this game and only when using three monitors. Other games run perfectly fine, and stress tests show no instability.

Other problems that might be in connection:

- Previously noticed SSD temperatures exceeding 85°C

- One GPU power cable was slightly loose (later reseated properly)

- Issue persists even after a full OS reinstall on a new SSD

- Hardware acceleration wasn’t working in chrome and discord

- My PC shit down randomly 2 times already. Once it wasn’t even while playing the game I mentioned. Event log showed Kernel 41 problems.

- USB C ports not working (neither front and back) not even in BIOS. Could the motherboard be wrong?

I already tried:

- Verified game files through Steam

- Reinstalled the game

- Capped FPS at 120

- Updated BIOS

- Tested various graphics settings (in-game and AMD Adrenalin)

- Set up triple monitors both through AMD Adrenalin and manually via config file

- Ran GPU stress tests (no issues found)

- Replaced SSD and reinstalled Windows

- Reseated GPU power cable and GPU itself

- Completely reinstalled GPU drivers

- Turned off fast startup

- Changed monitor cables

- Prayed

What other things could I try? Please help me out!

Thank you!

I’m completely out of ideas at this point, so I’m open to any suggestions.

I recently built a new PC with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT, an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, and an 850W power supply.

I’m playing on three 27” Samsung Odyssey G5 monitors at 7680x1440 resolution. Everything worked perfectly for a while, but then the game started having constant micro-stutters / micro-lags, even though according to the Steam overlay, the FPS does not drop.

No other game has this issue, and Le Mans Ultimate only does it when using three monitors. I also ran GPU stress tests, and everything was completely stable there as well. I tried setting up the triple monitors through AMD Adrenalin, and also by manually editing the configuration file.

I have already verified the game files through Steam, reinstalled the game, capped the FPS at 120, updated the BIOS, and tried a lot of different graphics settings both in AMD Adrenalin and in the game.

At one point I noticed that my SSD temperature was going above 85°C. Since I was planning to buy another SSD anyway, I did that, then reinstalled Windows and everything else on the new SSD.

That did not solve the issue.

After that, I noticed that one of the GPU power cables was very slightly loose. I reseated it properly and then completely reinstalled the GPU driver. However, considering how slightly it was moved out, I’m not sure it was actually the cause.

This also did not solve the issue.

What else could I try? Is it possible that the slightly loose GPU power cable really caused this? Could it have damaged any hardware?

Thanks in advance if anyone has any ideas.
