Danganropa AU Tier list (MORE DETAILS IN POST)

So I've become obsessed with the idea of rewritting and improving danganronpa for my own, personal satisfaction while I've been watching a streamer struggle through DR2. And, well, I'm also obsessed with date everything. So I started thinking of what if these characters were put in the DR Universe. Trapped within a killing game, with mostly the same rules as Danganronpa.

Trigger warnings for suicide and murder.

THE MASTERMIND:

So generally I think DR would work best WITHHOUT a mastermind. The point of the game, the thesis if you will, is to have hope despite despair. I think this would work best with Monokuma not having any human reason behind him. HOWEVER there are cetain characters in Date everything who would make FAR TOO MUCH SENSE being the mastermind behind the killings, and wouldn't make much sense otherwise without fundamentally changing their character. Or the final victim as I will describe below. So that's what that tier is for.

MOTIVES:

I would like the motives to be as follows (the motives in danganrompa range from interesting but poorly executed to just bad) -

CASE 1: No motive is given by Monokuma. The killer snaps at the idea of being trapped in the environment forever.

CASE 2: Everyone is given a piece of paper that they must read. This paper has: another player on it, someone that player would kill, and a BELIEVABLE motive as to WHY that person would kill the other person. No one receives their own who they would kill or who would kill them.

CASE 3: Whoever kills the next person will graduate WITHOUT a trial OR anyone else dying as a result. The building is make completely dark until the next killing has happened.I imagine the first victim is someone who is injured or grieving. Then, that killer is killed either with or without knowledge of their previous murder. With is revenge/justice. Without is VERY much an accident.

CASE 4: Case 4's victim is a suicide. This character is found out by the "killer" that they are being blackmailed by Monokuma to give info to him about everyone. They commit suicide before the "killer" or Monokuma can reveal this. Monokuma considers this death to be the "killer"'s fault. So they are executed.

CASE 5: The final motive is just that. Monokuma is bored and has decided the next death will be the last. Everyone will be released if they find out the blacked. The blackened may not confess and must make an effort to hide their crime. I imagine the victim in this case has been the "villain" (e.g. Byakuya) of the game.

Survives or Killed tier:

I can imagine these characters both as being protag fake out first kills AND the protag of the game. Up to personal preference for either

Hey why is the image quality of this tier list bad:

Sorry tier maker has been not letting me save images so I have to do a screenshot.

Does anyone know any buisness that does returns over the phone these days?

What it says on the tin. I get so many customers calling me huffy they have to come back in and that I can't do their refund over the phone. that is such a quick way to get card fraud! I don't know any buisness that would ope. themselves up to fraud or a potential scam by trying to start a transaction or return over the phone.

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but I'd like some unique motive ideas for my casual, just for me danganrompa rewrite (does that make it a fangan? I'm not sure. but figured you guys would have the most ideas! lol).

So far I have:

Ch1: no motive necessarily given; the murderer simply breaks at the idea that that they're stuck there forever.

Ch. 2: monokuma gives everyone a person, someone who that person would kill, and a believable motive as to why that person would kill the other person. no one gets someone who would kill them or their own person they would kill and they are not allowed to share.

Ch 3: A combo of two motives I've seen before: the blackened of the next murder that occurs will graduate without a trial and without the other participants dying. the building is completely dark until a murder occurs.

And that's all I have! I'd love to hear some fun ideas. I'm not personally fond of motives where it feels like the characters have to kill (ex: the >!starvation motive!< in 2 or the >!time limit!< in 3); I want there to be a choice to kill. that would create the most despair I think. Making it so maybe the person could have been stopped.
