A happy ride and a doubt…

A happy ride and a doubt…

Since 2021, I have barely used public transport. I’ve only used it two or three times within the city. Even while travelling to other districts, I preferred renting a car instead of using district buses because of the crowd and uncomfortable conditions.

Now my bike has a problem, and I had to travel from Chilkur to Kukatpally to collect it. I asked my brother to drop me near GAR building, and from there I initially thought of booking a Rapido ride. But the fare was too high, so I decided to try a private bus instead. That’s when I found a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation AC bus that cost only ₹50 to JNTU and even had working USB charging ports.

Surprisingly, the bus had only around five passengers.

I just wanted to know — are the AC buses usually less crowded, or was I simply travelling during a non-peak, crowd-free time?
