Hello aesthetic nurses of Calgary!

As someone who wants to go into aesthetics. Is it really as lucrative as people say it is? How much are aesthetics nurses or NP’s in clinics or with their own business earning?

I’ve also heard things about market saturation. Have you found that the market is noticeably saturated to the point where it’s becoming a problem?

Lastly, how hard is it to break into the field?

I (24F) am a pre-nursing student. I am going into nursing intending to go into cosmetic nursing (dermal fillers/botox).

For those who are already in the industry, how has it been trying to build a clientele? How is the market? What are the biggest indicators that you will be successful in the business? If you own a medical spa or know people who do, how is the business?
