I think for me it was definitely organic chemistry lab. I was by no means good at it, but at least being able to synthesize at least some product was really rewarding:) I liked the different distillations that we did and just understanding the actual process of the mechanisms that you learn about in class( too bad my current job isn’t in a lab but hey gotta start somewhere 😅)

Lowkey don’t remember all the names , but for me it’s between the Yo-Yos and the Simoon( the fans)

Hey just a random question but what’s everyone’s favorite element? I have learned a lot about the applications and usage of gold nanoparticles when I took a nanochemistry course( go figure) but gold has been my favorite element honestly cause it’s chemical symbol is my initials for my name😭

Ima just vent real quick. I just was able to save Jun and get everyone’s ultimate persona except for Maya’s. And like I did rush through a majority of the dungeons but I found 3/4 masks cause I thought the empty one that jun had was technically the 4th; in my head I thought “ok jun took his back and I found everyone else’s”and now everyone got the upgrade except for maya. I’m not gonna start over all the way from the beginning ofc but I’m salty about it. I had no idea that there was a mask for Maya too cause she was the older sister? Maybes it’s because I don’t play daily but her being the big sister did she a mask too? Either way I’m kinda bummed but I’ll feel better about it in the morning. Also in general I don’t really like you can’t explore dungeons once you finish them. I do like the dialogue options you get throughout the game tho

As a person who likes to hear about other people’s experiences and just talk in general, does anyone have any fault systems/ faults in general that they have been too on a trip or something? Or any fault you just enjoyed learning about? For me it was the Moine Thrust.

This is just a random question, and correct me if I’m wrong but veins are sorta like tube-shaped intrusions of mineral deposits that cut through rock strata , and their usually defined by increasing pressure and heat ( epithermal, mesothermal, hypothermal). If they can exist a few km down into the crust, how do people find evidence if one exists in a certain area or not? I assume date from the waves generated from tectonic plates moving and what not but I’m not exactly sure.

Just out of curiosity what got everyone into the Mother series? For me it was chuggaaconroy playthrough a few years ago. Honestly I played all the games and I fell in love with the series. Once I get done with mega man battle network games I’ll replay them again but the weirdness of the games and the charactersmade me think yeah I gotta play all the games and get merch.

So while I work a full time job now, working in the lab during my undergraduate would always bring back fond memories and I still keep my lab notebook and a bunch of my chemistry notes cause I like the material that much. My favorite was personally when I spent the summer studying zwitterionic MOFS( metal-organic frameworks) and ways to effectively synthesize them. What about anyone else; what are some of your favorite research projects/experiences?

Just out of curiosity, would anyone be able to describe how exactly chemical weathering mainly forms karst topography within certain regions? Like was that kind of surface feature a product of the time when sea level was higher and had been made up of a different level of oxygen or something?

I’m pretty new to the series but I finished all 3 games within the last 6 months or so while we don’t have much to work with😭, what’s yall favorite entry in the main trilogy?

This is just a personal opinion but what are your favorite kinds of reactions? From whatever you work with or what you remember from school. For me it was Grignard reagent reaction cause the uniformity of always involving an organometallic compound was interesting to me. You could use different halides depending on what carbon bond you wanted to make.

So I know it has sold well and was especially popular at the time, but it’s been around 8 years I think since it came out so what are everyone’s opinions about Mega Man 11? I would personally put it in my top 5 of the classic games basically 4th or 3rd but I would like to hear some other thoughts about it.

Hey so I just wanted to post and talk about mother 3. It’s my favorite game of all time and I played it so many different times on different emulators. I think the gameplay is classic JRPG but the sound battle component is just enough to make it interesting and make the encounters different. The little details on character interactions and their backgrounds and the rich story especially to the latter end of the game is just such a unique experience. Just wanted to talk a little bit about it, but any Mother 3 fans here? Or just general opinions about it?
