My advice: If finance allows, don’t be discouraged to apply to top schools, especially with decent research. I had no hope but my friend convinced me to apply to his employer (my accepted school), submitted the application on 9/22. Ended up with a 50% full tuition scholarship. Seriously, or else I will have 0 A this cycle.
