Considering switching broadband from EE to Sky. Suggestions?
Hi everyone , currently considering switching from EE broadband to Sky mainly because of the price difference.
EE has honestly been very reliable for me, but Sky are offering the same speed for around £13 less per month, which over the contract is quite a saving.
Since both providers use Openreach infrastructure anyway, I’m also wondering whether there’s actually much difference in reliability/speeds between them in real-world use.
For those who’ve used both:
Is Sky broadband as reliable as EE?
How are the speeds during peak times?
Any issues with dropouts or customer service?
Is the Sky router any good for coverage and stability?
If both use Openreach, is EE actually worth paying extra for?
Would appreciate any real experiences before I decide to switch.
Thanks.
