In a quest to retrieve the true power and magic of the console.

Tried to do the same method with Winlator, had a hard time trying because moving files from SDCard to internal storage in lineageOS is traumatic, but when I clicked it, it wouldnt run. Thought the console just wouldnt have the power, maybe the console in the video was a lot more powerful.

But I wanted to know if by any chance someone here was more sucessful than me! I mean, come on, they are meant to look like PS1 games, how can it be impossible since thats what the r36s was born for?

Also curious to know if you guys be having these crazy ideas and how far you got with your own shenanigans.

The title sounds stupid, I know. I couldnt find any tutorial or past posts.

I need to move some files into another "partition" or memory slot of the android that doesnt appear in the PC. When I put apk files in the Downloads folder using my PC, they dont appear easily in the Files app - I first have to go into mouse mode, go up to the sdcard image in the top, click it and then find the apks in the Downloads folder of THAT partition (aka EASYROMS, which is what opens in my PC.) The partition I was in before was called "LineageOS on Game Console R36S".

What happens then is that when I open the apk file, it installs the game in this "LineageOS on Game Console R36S" partition, not the easyroms one. The game works at first, but it creates a problem because some games need the "obb" file, which you cant find because it will look into the EASYROMS partition and not the other one where its installed.

Also, Id like to edit a particular game's graphics.txt file (to make it more manageable for the little console) but then again its on the partition that doesnt appear in my PC.

So my idea of course was to copy and paste the file/folder from one partition to another, but I cant seem to open context menu in any way. I press select in the Files app, and it can only open the context menu for the whole page, not the folder I want.

What do I do? I could get

Im obcessed with making hollow knight run perfectly in r36s. Ive seen people running it with lineage OS but the game is still at very low fps even with low quality config.

Got me thinking: is there a way to push the graphics of a game to a low level beyond what the in game configs allow me to? The idea was inspired by this one time a friend helped me run Valorant on my old toaster laptop, by manually entering game files and setting .ini assets to 0.

I tried doing the same with hollow knight (I have it in my phone), but the visible assets are just what the in game usual config UI shows me.

Is there an app for this, something Im missing? Much appreciate it!

No, really, I feel kinda lost. Here's what happened in the last few days:

I was in the subway and decided it would be nice to be able to play a lot of simple casual games without internet. So I remember the ads for chinese portables with hundreads or thousands of games and started looking online.

(Please keep in mind that Im brazillian, prices are different than what you'd expect because of high taxes for importation)

So after a lot of research I finally found the r36s. It's possibilities with portmaster and power relative to its low cost and, most of all, the passionate comunity around it pratically sold it to me. I spent some time understanding the concept of clones, bad clones, good clones (I really didnt want to spend a lot of money on this as I already have a powerful PC and just wanted something to play with in the street), and as I continued studying it it just seemed more and more fascinating what this little cheap thing could do. Im not that hardcore of a gamer, but I hiperfocused on exploring it and what it could do.

I ended up buying a bad clone (bad luck I guess), and as I started trying to give the order back, I started researching how I could run games that are a bit heavier, like hollow knight, had the idea of having two SD cards, one with dArk OS RE and another with Lineage OS, went far enough into starting looking up how I could demake a game's graphics so it would be lighter, idk, the point is I've spent the last 5 days or so obcessed about it and now that I discovered you could run Android on it, I started looking for apk's for the possible games and - schockinly for me - EVERYTHING HAS AN APK FOR ANDROID NOW. I tested downloading Hollow Knight for my phone and it just runs perfecly. I researched a bit more and every game I could think of had an APK somewhere, that you can easily install in your phone. When did that started being possible? When did emulating and porting gone that far?

Well, Im now thinking I should have just used my phone from the start. The idea at first was to have a different device for gaming because of gaming grip, storage separation and fear of theft (better to lose your cheap handheld than your expensive phone). But I looked it up and the console, even tho its cheap, is pratically the same price as the X5 Lite gamepad, except that my phone is way more powerful.

Question is: Am I missing something? Is there any other reason why I should prefer the console in this scenario?

Eu estou com uma certa agonia pq nao estou vendo uma hiper campanha das diferentes esquerdas pra manchar os partidos de direita (levantando os seus crimes e absurdos, nao to nem falando de difamação) e popularizar as possibilidades de esquerda. Do jeito que a coisa ta, isso deveria estar acontecendo o ano inteiro.

Quais sao os desafios? Estou muito perdido? O que justifica nós não estarmos todos na rua diariamente (ou enfim conforme a disponibilidade, vcs entenderam) tentando tirar a direita do poder? É pura fé ou tem algo que nao estou vendo?
