Looking for 1v1 Spades beta testers today — paying $5 for feedback

Looking for 1v1 Spades app beta testers — paying $5 for feedback

I’m building a phone-accessible 1v1 Solo Spades multiplayer beta and looking for a few testers today.

I’m paying $5 to each tester who completes a test match or 3 rounds and gives feedback.

This is not a paid tournament or gambling. Everyone gets the same $5 win or lose. I’m just testing room joining, bidding, scoring, reconnect, spectator mode, and mobile usability.

Discord is required so I can organize match links, results, and bug reports.

Comment or DM if interested.

Apple Cash, Cash App, Venmo, maybe Zelle

Sneak Peek: Competitive 1v1 Spades Project I’ve Been Building

I have so many more ideas but mechanics finally coming back perfect (: more to come soon!!

Finally got full matches running tonight on a mobile-first competitive 1v1 Spades project I’ve been working on.

Current features:

custom solo Spades ruleset

bidding + nil system

bag penalties

suit enforcement

hidden hands

coin flip/bid lock system

live trick feed

score tracking

Still early, but the gameplay is starting to feel really competitive instead of RNG-heavy like normal partner Spades.

Main goal is creating a true skill-based version of Spades built for ranked play/tournaments.

Here’s a small sneak peek of the current build. More gameplay clips tomorrow.

Planning to start looking for testers by the end of tomorrow once I finish stabilizing a few things.

I created a competitive 1v1 spades rule set and I think it could actually work online.

I’ve been developing a competitive 1v1 spades format based around hidden information, reads, psychology, and deduction.

The way it works:

Full 52-card deck dealt into 4 hands

Players use opposite hands

2 side hands become hidden discard piles

Nil allowed

Heavy emphasis on memory, pressure, and reading opponents

Some unique rules:

Spades only break naturally

Hidden discard hands

Severe renege punishments

Competitive nil scoring (+125/-125)

Bags still matter heavily

I’m considering building:

a browser-based version,

ranked matchmaking,

tournaments,

and streamer mode so viewers can’t cheat by seeing hidden info.

I also want to stream challenge matches like:
“$20 if you beat me in 1v1 spades.”

I know a lot of people only think of spades as casual/team play, but high-level 1v1 actually gets insanely psychological and competitive.

Would any of you actually play or watch something like this competitively?

I genuinely want feedback from real spades players.
