Planning to visit colombo in october from Kerala. How's the weather there in October? Is it too rainy or like manageable?

Looking for a good place to learn swimming preferably around Kadavanthra/Elamkulam areas. Somewhere that has good coaches, safe for women, and beginner friendly.

I work a 9–5, so flexible timings or early morning/evening batches would help. Bonus if it’s within walking distance from a metro station.

Would love some genuine recommendations :)
