In Hood River off of June Street!

$700 and Utilities split 3 ways, usually under $150 unless extreme cold temps. Month to Month. However, we would prefer someone who is looking to live here for at least 6-8 months.

One master bedroom, shared by my partner and I.
2 other rooms that are the exact same, but we are only allowed 3 occupants, so we turned one of the rooms into a shared game/craft room.
One shared bathroom with shower/tub.
No dishwasher, but two fridges, one in the kitchen and one in the garage.
Almost completely fenced in backyard.
One parking spot in front of the garage and street parking.
Mini skate ramp
Ping pong table
We have 2 friendly sweet cats & are not allowed anymore animals :(

Found what I believe to be are pray mantis oothecas in my backyard. How cool to see the weaving and layering of these protective structures. You can tell one of them has been through a little more than the other but seems to remain sturdy!

Of course these were returned to the areas in which I found them. I was scared at first thinking they were something bad! A little bit of interweb sleuthing has me feeling excited and looking forward to hundreds of baby mantises coming soon!

Im a first time Venus fly trapper so I don’t really know what’s goin on here. I read that I should just pinch it closed but I’ve don’t that 3 times and now I just feel like it doesn’t want the stupid fly? Should I pull it out?

Context: the plant caught the fly while it was alive. No I did not put a dead fly into the trap 🤦‍♀️

It closed immediately and it left it alone. I noticed the next morning that it was wide open so I looked up on the Venus plant blog on the interwebs that you can pinch them closed and it will help trigger it to stay closed. Well I did that 3 times through out yesterday
