[DISCUSSION / HELP] Not gonna do anything bad with removing LED, but researched and didnt find much, and was wondering, whether people that provides these services place some lens protector of some sort to cover the hole they create or if we get completely unprotected after removing the LED light, or if it just destroys the light not changing anything in the original build.

I'm traveling to the US soon, and was thinking about purchasing the glasses, so unsure if I should get the LED removed or if this is gonna potentially make my glasses fry sooner... :/

Any advice or experience share on this? (this isnt a deal breaker, just weighing in the costs x benefit as in my country probably nobody does this or it would be too expensive)
