Webull Broker API for RIA / model portfolio platform — anyone using it?

We’re evaluating Webull as the brokerage/custody platform for a discretionary model-portfolio application.

The goal is for clients to do everything inside our own application — account opening/KYC, agreements, ACH funding, and ongoing account management — while we programmatically manage portfolios and place/rebalance trades across client accounts.

I’m specifically looking at the Webull Broker API / fully-disclosed model, rather than the consumer Connect API.

Has anyone here actually gone through Webull’s Broker API onboarding and production approval?

I’d especially like to understand:
- How difficult/long was the approval process?
- Are there minimum AUM, account-count, or trading-volume requirements?
- Are there API, platform, custody, or advisor/master-account fees?
- Can you get sandbox access before completing commercial approval?
- How much of onboarding/KYC/funding can actually be embedded in your own application?
- Can advisory fees be calculated and deducted programmatically?
- Can you programmatically rebalance models across multiple client accounts?
-Are clients ever required to use Webull’s own UI/portal?

If you’ve built an RIA/fintech integration with Webull Broker API, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience, including anything you wish you’d known before starting.

RIA using the Web API — is there a fee for Full Integration client registration?

State-registered RIA with an advisor master account pending. Planning to use the Account Management API with Full Integration for client registration — clients complete onboarding inside our own app.

The docs say Full Integration has “an upfront and annual fee” priced on integration complexity, but no numbers anywhere. Anyone gone through this as a small advisor and can share what the fee actually looked like? Trying to figure out if it’s hundreds or tens of thousands before the API team gets back to me.

Also curious how long the Full Integration approval and interface review took, if anyone’s done it.

Small RIA — has anyone gone live on embedded brokerage infra (Alpaca / Apex / DriveWealth)?

State-registered (non-SEC) RIA, solo, launching with a small book. I want clients to onboard, fund, and invest inside my own app rather than sending them to a custodian portal, so I’ve been looking at Broker API-style providers instead of Schwab/Altruist/IBKR.

Integration is already built and working in sandbox — account opening, ACH funding, rebalancing, advisory fee calculation with journal-based debits. What I can’t find published anywhere is the commercial side:

1. Do any of these providers onboard state-registered advisers? Alpaca’s Use Cases page specifically says “SEC-registered RIA” for their RIA setup, and I can’t tell if that’s a hard requirement or just loose doc language.
2. What did the clearing deposit and setup cost actually look like for you? Trying to figure out whether this is a $5K conversation or a $50K one before I sink more time into it.
3. Anyone regret going this route versus just custodying somewhere conventional and living with the client-facing UX?

Happy to hear “you’re too small, use a custodian” if that’s the honest answer — I’d rather know now.
