We all know they got rid of Phoebes powers for 2 reasons.

1. Her Levitation power cost too much and their budget couldn't handle it

2. Her empathy power made Phoebe more powerful than her sisters and potentially too hard to use in the plot.

First thing is the writing missed an opportunity with Phoebe's empathy and power growth. Yes Phoebe had become more powerful than her sisters. But as we know they are all connected. Their powers bleed together. Their powers are bond by their sisterhood. They are a collective. So They should have had it so as Phoebe got more powerful it would have speed to Piper and paige too. Now of course the spreading to the sisters would be delayed to give Phoebe her moment . Probably after starts deflecting fireballs the sisters powers would grow too.

When we went 10 years in the future Piper could freeze an entire block, sky and all with ease. Her freeze had a double click sound to it. In " once in a blue moon" Piper could blow things up without looking at it. She was able to freeze a demon mid shimmer. In season 7 she was even able to repel attacks by exploding the air in front of it . She also learned a telekinesis technique from her blast.

I think any of these advancements would have put her back as head witch and still be ok for budget since they did them all anyway.

In limbo Paige could orb things without calling for them, and she could orb non corporeal things. In "once in a blue moon " Paige was calling for things as if she was conjuring them herself. Her tk orbing was acting like regular telekiniesis. And we've seen her do telekiniesis while to orbing.

I think this would have been the perfect time to give Paige either conjuring or straight telekiniesis or both.

The problem was Phoebe was to strong. Well instead of ruining your character by weakening them, just elevate the others as well . The next big bads are Gideon ( an elder) , the avatars , zanku, and Billie and Christy aka the ultimate power. There's nothing wrong with leveling your characters up. Give them all limitations . Like Piper can't blast every demon, or Phoebe can read every demon, Paige already has mental blocks.

And if I'm being serious , I would like to see endgame Phoebe with psychic reflection and sonic flight like in the comics in the series. Level the other sisters up too if you must .

Second thing was Phoebes levitation price tag. And there so many ways around it. Have her start gliding side to side to avoid attacks. Like the old karate movies. Think Prue with her fight against Vincent the demon. More so movements and camera angles and takes. You could focus on her super strength. Have her kicking them to send them flying slot more. Down the line she could kick demons and have them explode like in hulkus poukus. And when ever she is in costume or with a stunt double she can levitate. Hulkus poukus was a perfect opportunity. Or as Jennie. There were options.

Anyway what powers or advancements would y'all give the sisters?

Superhero teams of 4 usually have the following: a tank, a healer, a controller and a damage person. Which of the charmed ones are which?

Heres my head cannon:

Tank= Phoebe. Because she is constantly the one used as bait. Her fighting / intuition power allows her to react fast, dodge attacks and often counter them. Once she becomes an empath she can literally become resistant to powers. Her Levitation makes her strong and agile. Perfect for distraction and fighting. And her permonitions literally shields them all from harm, even tho she feels it all.

Healer= Paige. Because even before she could heal, her nature was that of a whitelighter. Someone ment to guide, help and heal. She is the half pastifist sister that won't stop helping innocents , even when told to stop. She worked as a social worker to help people become their best selves.and she continues that as a whitelighter. She can sense when a charge is hurt and go to them or bring them to her. She even gains a orb shield to help her protect others.

Controller= Prue. Because she personality is controlling. Her telekiniesis is almost just a command of her will, animating a whole attic to clean itself. Controlling things she can't see. Her pride doesn't come from her damage power and many may think. It actually comes from the fact the her power is so versatile. She can control her body , strength , others, the world. Protect or attack. Her power of astral projection only enhances this. Being able to affect things from far away. Even her invention of the crystal cage is controlling the enemy, either containing them, repelling them or shocking them.

Damage person= Piper. Because before season 3 there was no damage person. This is why they charmed ones had to study the book of shadows and think outside the box to defeat an enemy. People actually really liked the early seasons for this reason. The sisters "go to attack" was freeze, kick and send flying . This proves Prue and Piper were controllers with no real damage. But I did love how Piper grew her power was a controller mindset focusing on precision.The sisters did this all the way til the end of season 3 when Cole brings it up. Piper then gains combustion making her the damage person. Even outside of her power Piper can brew up some of the most lethal potions(example long live the queen). And she can do it all by taste.

I don't know . What do you guys think ? Who would be what? And did you like the series after it became superhero'ish?

I have been playing for a couple years now and they always had a pride event. The fact that the house of legends has empty spots is crazy. There's always something there.

Phoebe trained her permonition power by meditating in season 1. By season 2 she was more agile and could send demons flying further than before with her kicks. By season 3 she could straight up levitate, often by reflex of her intuition power. She meditates a lot more in season 6 to control her empathy power. And this allows her Levitation to grow to levitate people and things touching her.

The zen masters could levitate, but only after years of training their bodies and minds . Meditation was a tool to achieve their enlightenment and understanding of the world.

Whitelighters can levitate, but it seems that they all meditate. Leo, ramus, that replacement guy from season 7. It makes sense because they have to tune out the world to hear and sense their charges. Piper even had to meditate for a minute to find Phoebe when she had Leo's powers. Paige could not levitate until she saw herself meditating and did it herself while under a spell. It makes sense she would get it so fast because she was used to sensing and finding her charges.

Even Prue couldn't levitate as an empath until she calmed her minds to control the emotions.

The demon katya had levitation, yes she could have stole the power , but she was very calm and collected. focused much like the zen masters.

The witch from the 70s was in a meditative position while levitating.

It makes sense that meditation ( a practice that affects the mind and body) can be used to advance , control and produce mental powers ( like levitation).

Having it being taught at magic school means it's learnable like astral projection. This makes me think that combustion is a learnable power too. But that's another discussion.

Prue / Paige could move things with their mind. Piper learned to move things via her tiny precise blast. Phoebe gained levitation to move her self and people and objects touching her.

Piper could freeze or blow things to up. Phoebe grew to fry brains, while stopping their motion. Plus empathy gave her access to freezing. Also through empathic connections she can control demons, potentially making them stay still. Prue could suspend people in air and hold them. Paige did the same with smaller objects like the lephrecans staff l. Prue can cause explosion with her telekiniesis. Paige can shatter mirrors with hers .

Phoebe can sense things , see visions / things. Thanks to Phoebe all the sisters have great reflexes and instincts. Piper can sense things via her criteria freezes. Prue can astral project to see different places. Paige has prophetic dreams.

So may the 4th be with you was a holiday started by the fans. Then the movie franchise really cashed in on it. My question is what would be our charmed day? Like if the fans created a charmed day , what day would it be and why? Maybe a birthday, or the day they got their powers. Perhaps something like the 3rd month , the 3rd day, the 3rd hour? What are your suggestions?

Also what would u do on a charmed day? Parties, marathons , crafts, spirit boards.

So some people brought up how Phoebes powers aren't consistent. Meaning she does something once and never again.

So out of all of the abilities she showcased , what were some storylines you would have liked to see them used again? And I will say it's kinda hard because almost all of her abilities require another psychic besides psychic reflection.

Some of her abilities include sensing time loops or time shifts. Empathic connections, psychic echoes, talking through someone, hearing the past in the present, being physically assaulted by the past. And of course psychic reflection.

Her are some of my storylines I think would have shown off her power nicely.

1. In season 5 the crone steals their senses to get Wyatt .I think Phoebe should have tried to form a empathic connection to the crone. Since the crone is using their senses , I feel like Phoebe could have tried to tap in to the magic and reverse to see what she sees and hear what she hears. This could be how they find Leo. She could even see the glass cage he is in and try to speak through her to spell the glass to break. Wyatt can of course then sense him so he has his moment.
2. In season 7 Darryl's friend is possessed by a spirit trapped in a time loop. Phoebe goes there to research and help. I think this would have been a great time for her to get a psychic echo from the psychic trapped in the fire. She would feel the fire on her skin. Now they could either made a pain potion for her or have her able to close it out since she mastered that after being an empath. But I think this would make the stakes higher for Phoebe and make her more invested.
3. Now no other demon has rewound time after tempus. So sadly Phoebe couldn't sense a time loop or shift. But I was thinking maybe in the 100th episode when Phoebe touches Paige from the correct reality Phoebe would at least be able to sense the difference on her.
4. In season 7 when Cole visits Piper on another plane Phoebe senses him. She doesn't know what it is. But I think it would be so cute if she could hear the music they danced to, and maybe a soft kiss on the lips. All of it is just her permonition power taking over her senses . She would just say Cole, and walk away sad but fondly.
5. In season 6 her old classmate rick kidnaps her other highschool friend and holds her a gun point. I feel like this would be the best and only time Phoebe would display her psychic reflection power. Angered by him taking her and it being all her fault she grabs him and unknowingly starts to fry his brain. Leo senses Phoebes distress. He orbs to her and stops her. After Leo heals him and clears his memory Phoebe says I who where she is. This act weighs heavy on her. and when the tribunal tries to take her powers she agrees.

What are some storylines you all would want to see to bring some of these abilities back ?
