Hey guys I am an international baccalaureate student applying to bachelor of physics in university of Galway.

My subjects: Physics HL, Economics HL, Business HL, Maths AA SL, Swedish AB Initio, English Language and Lit SL.

What ideal ib score would get me accepted in the program, I saw the requirement was CAO 442, do you think a 33 or 34 would be enough for admission?

Also I had a question about documentation, what documents would I need to submit as an EU + IB student?

Just personal information or grades too? I heard that personal information is sufficient and later I need to provide grades using IBO portal, is that true?

Any help is much appreciated 🙏🙏🙏

Hi everyone,

I'm an EU applicant (Swedish citizen) applying to Trinity College Dublin through the CAO with the IB Diploma.

From what I've understood:

• I apply through CAO between November and February.
• I don't submit predicted grades or DP1/school report cards.
• My IB coordinator sends my official final IB results to CAO in July.
• Trinity then makes offers based on those official final IB results (converted to CAO points).

Is this correct?

For standard undergraduate courses (e.g. Economics/Business), does Trinity look at anything besides the final official IB results, such as:

• DP1 report cards?
• Predicted grades?
• School GPA?
• Unit tests/summatives?
• Teacher references?

Or is admission through the CAO for IB students based solely on the official final IB results?

Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I’m an IB student (Swedish citizen) graduating in May 2027. I have to apply to KTH's English-taught ICT program via the 2nd Admission Round (Antagning.se).

With Math AA SL, I get 1.0 merit point, locking my final score at 20.70. I don't speak fluent Swedish, so Högskoleprovet is out.

I have:

Physics hl

economics hl

business hl

maths aa sl

swedish ab initio

english lang and lit sl

I wanted to know if all I will get is 1 extra merit, if i get only one so even if i get a 45 (which i wont but js imagine) it will round up to a 21 which is still below the cutoff...is this how it works?

I AM STRESSED OUT PLS HELP!!!!
